Here's the screenshot of the logger. I'm going to check over the crank/cam sensors again and see if anything looks suspicious.

see those red spikes?

That means it's reading/not reading something that it was not expecting/expecting.

I got the EFI relay today and replaced it, still having the problem. With either the cam or crank sensor removed it won't fire at all, so they seem to clearly be sending a signal since occasionally the car will run for a few seconds. Think it would do the same thing if I went back to the stock ECU? I'm thinking it may be time to just put it back to stock.

Sorry the fix didn't work... very sorry....

Its something stupid, guaranteed.... I just don't know what.

Thanks for the sympathy :) Apparently there is a second fuel relay under the dash and I was able to identify that it is the one that's clicking. I bought one and I'm having it overnighted from Japan... err I mean, Tampa. I'm holding out hope that it will resolve the issue.

File is attached.

Thanks again to both of you for the help, I really appreciate it.

New relay is doing the same thing, man I was actually feeling like that had a chance of resolving it.

shiat.... start checking continuity in wires and grounds....

does the car work with the stock ecu plugged in?

pdexta 12-11-2010 03:01 PM

It wouldn't run with the stock ECU, but I wasn't hearing the clicking relay either. I'm not sure I'd expect it to run with 550 injectors and COPs though.

Preluding 12-12-2010 05:10 PM

mine ran with 750 and cops (stock ecu during testing)... yours would start and run (pig rich) as well

Thought I'd bump this with the latest update. I replaced the crank sensor (again) and the cam sensor. I am still having the same issue with the clicking relay with the MS in, sometimes it will run, albeit lean, but dies when you touch the gas other times it will not run at all, always with the fuel relay clicking a couple times a second. On the factory ECU there is no clicking but the car will not run (I don't have the stock injectors or primary O2 sensor).
