Changing temp in which the fans come on?

Can it be done with stock ecu? If so how?

the fans come on when the thermoswitch sees 207°. Then it simply trips and grounds the circuit.

Unless you replace the thermoswitch to something with a different switching value, i doubt you can do it.

however, it's super easy to do with MS :)

To clarify, in the 1.6 cars the ECU does not control the fans insofar as responding to CLT temperature.

The thermoswitch that Brain refers to is the one mounted on the top of the thermostat housing. When it gets hot it closes a path to ground which energizes the primary fan relay.

The only thing that the stock 1.6 ECU does with regard to the fans is to turn them on when the A/C is active, and that is not a temperature-dependent activity.

wire your fans in parallel and add your own ignition activated switch :)

AutoZone sells an adjustable fan control kit for about $25. Torqflo or CompressorWorks part # 733652. I used it on my old jeep and it works well. My only complaint is that the kit comes with just one color wire. It makes wiring up the relay, fan, and switch tricky if every wire is blue.
