Last set of tires I got came from a local chain shop. They were within a couple of bucks of the lease expensive internet vendor. So don't count out the locals.

i always go with tire rack since a company sent me 4 right side tires...then of course I couldn't get them to send the correct tire without charging me more. I ended up contesting the charge with visa, then going with tire rack.

most local shops will price match and can usually get almost any tire as well.

Kelly 01-02-2007 10:13 PM

I think I can get 5-10% off tire rack depending what it is.

not around here they are a rip off.there is a place called tire empire.its a a big costume wheel dealer.and i built all custom lowrider bicylces for him and he diddnt even give a decent price when he said i was get a great deal from him.even with the "hookup" i was still getting screwed.the guy is a ass,has
2 s500,2 h2,lwriders,2 lambos.a bunch of crazy shit with retart rims.

turbopezz 01-02-2007 11:21 PM

braineack what tires do you recommended?

TheBandit 01-03-2007 12:07 AM

I always use DiscountTire. They are usually the cheapest and are about a day shipping from me.

Braineack 01-03-2007 08:46 AM

turbopezz 01-03-2007 12:55 PM

I can't decide if I want to run Azenis, Rs2s, or MXs....

What size? and what useage? (Azenis are still my personal favorite for almost anything, disliked the soft sidewalled MX on track and haven't run the RS2)

Edge and Vulcan are my two main tire places too... I've never gone wrong through either.

probally just street use maybe a few track events and a drag race or two.
will they hook nice from a launch and are they decent in the rain like i read on some websites.or am i going to hydro plane everywhere.

Braineack 01-03-2007 03:58 PM

the more they wear the more they'll suck in the rain....i personally never ran my rt-215s in the rain....the first time I did was the first time i ever lost control the car on the street.

turbopezz 01-03-2007 04:14 PM

yea im gonna be sliding, falken site sais they where good in the rain. JERKS

Braineack 01-03-2007 04:30 PM

the new design is supossed to be better than the 215s.
