Default Looking for NB aftermarket door panels

Looking for NB aftermarket door panels. Preferably something in CF, but not that... very show car looking thing that Good Win sells.

What options are there? I'm looking to gain some room, lose some weight, get rid of my cracked up panels. Still need to mount speakers.

Yikes, your options are so very limited imo

Yeah, I'm finding zero other than that DGM set, and I can't even get one decent picture from Goodwin about it. No help at all.

Sounds like you need a custom job. I recommend having someone thermoform you a set and add whatever metal you need for speakers yourself. Then you can be super cool and have clear doors. This costs about 150-200 in material for the doors but requires more than that for the mold and a special machine that you can make from stuff from home deport, ebay and harbor freight.

Why would I gut the doors? I'm just looking for the panels.

Those are the interior bits that hold the latch and speakers.

Not the door shells.

I was under the impression that the outer and inner were welded together.

Nope. They come right off.

There are aftermarket options, but generally for the NA.

Here's a person selling MSM door panels here, a while back:

Except for the fact that they are called door panels: Carbon Fiber Interior Door Panels for Mazda Miata for Miata

Yes, I meant whatever word you're using for door panels.

Because saving weight and getting interior room is racecar, not rice car. And I don't have any desire to post there. And I don't have any desire to actually be responded to there. And I've already done too much research on that website about this, and it was making my brain leak out of my ears.

Have you ever held one of those door cards? They're made from carboard and fabric (vinyl in the case of the NA) there isnt much to them, and I'm not sure where you're gaining any more room, they're like 1/2" thick.

Yeah. I've had them off in the NA repeatedly.

In the NB, they're entirely different story. Not nearly as thin.

Oh that's what you meant. Door cards.

No idea on those. With how light they are, and because we can get them off mint NB's in perfect condition, I don't think there is much demand for aftermarket or cf ones, and I didn't even think anyone made any at all, let alone in fancy cf or something.

They're called door panels most places that sell them.

Offered the guy who made some with red pulls 200$ for a set, he's too busy.

Anyone up for some fabbing?
