Clutch switch override
have 1 override plate that came with my lvl clutch but 2 cars, can i just unplug the clutch switch and jumper the wires together to bypass the clutch starter switch?

Yes.

I just got an FM clutch kit and I got this same part. What is even the benefit of it?

Start car without depressing the clutch pedal. And according to FM to reduce stress on thrust bearing while starting a cold engine with no oil pressure.
I just used a wire for mine. I am going to use the switch for my aux rev limiter when I install my TECII. |

I did the mod to my cars simply because I find it annoying to have to press the clutch when I start the engine. |
100,000 miles with OEM clutch and 40,000 miles with an Exedy, and my thrust bearings had no wear at all. YMMV

The clutch pedal on my 90' has two switches IIRC. The one with the larger wires mounted up higher was for the starter. The other one is for cruise (or now my Harlan 2 step).

ya i'm going to put the clip from fm on my dd and cut the switch out of my track car and sadder the wires together.
