Which color 6UL's to go with, decisions decisions
 

A while back I was in love with the bronze, then I started to like the black, now its the nickel. I like the silver as well, but I'm not sure why someone would get the silver over the nickel's (opinions?). Which finish should I go with? Anyone have any pictures of a white na with 6ul's in any color? Here are a few that I had saved to my computer, but I'd love to see as many more as possible before I pull the trigger. Comment away guys ;)

+1, I'm torn between these two colors too.

I'm pretty much torn between black and nickel as well. Every once and a while I'll see a bronze pic that looks amazing though. Is there any difference between the black and nickel in terms of durability of the finish? Scratching, flaking, etc

I say nickel. Here are my bronze track wheels and nickel street wheels. One of these days I'll get some better pics.

Black. With what you've done to the car black is the only way to go.

For any other white NA nickel/Bronze. For yours, black. too much black carbon already to not go with black wheels. On that note, are you planning on doing anything else paint/carbon wrap wise?

I was kinda thinking the same thing...but those nickels are so damn nice! Plus if I ever need to sell them for some reason, I was thinking that the nickels would be easier to sell...maybe I'm wrong here.


Yeah, I plan on painting the finishing panel and rear bumper all white (no more stripe) and then I plan to wrap the windshield surround and part of the hood down to my bumper cutout (The bumper ducting will be wrapped as well) The rest of the front bumper will be white:

I painted my bronze black, back when it was a street car the bronze made the cops look at my car to much, black fixed that.

Are you gonna fill that gap with those wheels? The flares stick out pretty far. Spacers?

the black and bronze are too contrived on the white car.

and the nickel is too dark and doesn't pop.

the silver has good brightness and will contrast well with the white.

IMO your car needs a consistent finish for your black parts. With the black wheels, you'll have matte, shiny, and carbon.

I was also wondering which color would look good on my new-used 95. The nickels look facking awesome, but I was thinking on eventually getting a hard top, paint in black, and do black stripes. With that said I think the black 6uls are the best fit. So, Cspence I think you should go black.

Cspence i say go with the Black...............black is at the top of the list, then its nickle..... all the other colors are inferior for your car!

Nickel. I have seen them on a white car before and they look great.

Cool thing about this problem is that every answer is correct.

The titatnium finish that's proposed on the 17" version is also pretty hot! Hot enough to start making me thing, "gee, I wish I had an NC." :idea:

Spacers for sure. 30mm in the rear and probably 15mm in the front. Rear will be flush, or close to it and the front will be inset just a little at the 12 oclock position. Everywhere else on the front it'll fit perfect.

This also sucks...so the census thus far is any color :giggle::facepalm: Someone find a white car with the black 6uls....I'm really thinking this may be a good look. Then again I like all the others as well. FML

No. If I had your car, I would go Black. If the car was plain, or with less black details, then nickel hands down. :2cents:

I really want to see how much spacing are you gonna have to use to match your flares to the wheels.

I have black 9's on my car and I want bronze 9's.

Any of the four color choices will look good on a white or black car.

only on a white car. nickel looks good on darker colors. like that 10AE blue and nickels? mmm baby.

I didn't put a whole lot of effort into this, but here's what nickel looks like from the side. I just washed the car so the rotors are all rusty. :facepalm:

Nickel. Also a side note, where did you get your spacers from. Im in the same boat; my 6ULs need more space to fill out. What flares are you running?

I forgot who said it, but they nailed it on the head. If my car was all white, DEFINITLY nickel. But with the carbon top and the carbon wrap on the upper half of my car, blacks the only way to go for me...unless I get a second set someday ;)

White was never an option for me. I personally hate white wheels but to each their own.;)

How can you hate white when you had K1's? Grew out of it?

They were on the car when I bought it and its taken me this long to buy some new wheels...

I had white K1's for my track wheels. Looked great on the track in white. Totally ghey on the street though. 6uls moved from street to track duty and the K1's are now bronze for the street.

Black ordered today! Should be here by the end of the week. I think I got the last set (I think he said they got 3 left) of 15x9 Blacks until their new shipment comes in....;)

What kind of flares are those??? Who makes them??

I shouldn't make it this easy for you....you should really search....but I'm feelin nice. They are Tuckin99 N2 flares. The ones on my car are originals, but our kind member on here, Rharris is making replicas.;)

I might've missed a post on it, but is that the 3m backed '3d carbon fiber' film on your rear deck lid and part of the 1/4s?
