Road rage turns deadly when motorcyclist attacks Mazda Miata

HOUSTON -- A case of road rage turned deadly Friday night when a group of motorcycles took off after a Mazda Miata.
It happened around 8:20 p.m. in the 10200 block of Scarsdale.
Harris County Sheriff’s deputies report that Donald Gosch was riding his motorcycle, along with his son and another friend, when he was killed.
The three became involved in an altercation with the driver of the Miata.
They chased the Miata through a nearby neighborhood, finally re-emerging on Scarsdale.
Deputies said Gosch was riding alongside the Miata and tried to kick and strike the driver.
Suddenly, Gosch lost control of his motorcycle and struck a nearby tree.
He was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.
The incident is under investigation.

yes, becuase i have been in that position before. a chick merged over at me, had a SUV next to me and a car in front and in back of me and i was hitting her hood and honking my horn and she was STILL merging over. only had an inch or 2 room to spare on each side before she actually stoped. people in cars dont see bikes because they are not looking for bikes. people on bikes are killed everyday because of a bunch of dumbfucks in cars (like you) aren't paying attenton. people on bikes dont go around hitting people in cars for no reasons. its just common sense, with a car vs. a bike, the car is going to win.

You've obviously never been nearly killed on a motorcycle by some douche in a car not paying attention to you. After a while it starts to get old, and some of us start to fight back. I had a set of carbon fiber gloves with many battle scars from SUV's side view mirrors.

While I reflect on the tragedy of another lost life on 2 wheels I realize its not smart to get violent in traffic.. But when someone almost hits you in their 10,000 pound truck then laughs when you ask them to pay more ******* attention like your life isn't worth the time it'd take for them to look around...

Given the facts of the article, it says that he was "riding along side the miata kicking and striking it" if you're stupid enough to KICK a car RIDING ALONG SIDE IT with NO HELMET on...then like braineack said "good ol darwin" he wsa a retard, i understand getting sick of people cuttin gyou off or what not, but if you dont even have a helmet on and you're going to ride along side them and kick their car....good luck when your head hits the road, or in this case tree.

And if you're stupid enough to catch a brandishing a weapon charge or even stupider and catch a murder charge over some dumbass cutting you off, then good luck in prison.. Also hope you have a concealed carry permit incase you ever get pulled over.

I'm not defending people that don't give people on bikes a little bit of courtesy by any means, but you can't honestly say you've never seen someone riding down the road on a bike doing stupid **** and thought to yourself, "damn he's got something shitty coming to him" now can you?

I know "cagers" suck at driving...hell, today I was in my miata and almost got hit by some dumb bitch in a minivan coming out on me while I was making a left turn...anyway, it's not a smart thing to do WHILE RIDING A BIKE to try to kick a car...he should have waited until they were all stopped and gone after the miata guy if he wanted to so bad...sortof like "don't bring a knife to a gun fight", don't bring a bike to a car fight

I've had a lot of close calls on bikes. I actually did get pissed enough to do something about it once. This girl merged very quickly into my lane without looking (I was literally 2 feet away from her face, not sure how she didn't see me!), forcing me to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid being stuck between her wheels and the pavement. She still didn't notice. I followed her for 3 or 4 miles trying to get her to pull over. I finally got her to roll down a window, but she refused for a long time. I'm pretty sure she thought I was a loonatic who was out to kill her, because she was balling. Tears everywhere. And she was on her cell phone talking frantically to someone, probably the police. Apparently this girl had just gotten her license the day before and had taken mommy's car out for a spin. She had absolutely no idea she had almost killed me so I yelled she should go give her F%#(ing license back and stay off the road, then took off. I felt kind of bad I made a teenage girl cry, but hopefully I at least made an impression about watching the where she's driving.




Wow, that got long. Synopsis: Stupid girl almost kills me on bike. I get mad, chase her, yell, make her cry. Go me.
