Coolant Leak from back of engine?

On the back of the engine on the little coolant housing there is a place for a hose and a threaded hole what are these for I almost just plugged them up but I wanted to check to see if it was anything important.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks

Punctuation is your friend. WTF are you asking?

Also, what engine? 1.6 or 1.8.

I got it. It was the coolant temp sensor needed to be transfered from the old head to the new. Just not paying attention. I now have a connector near the coil packs that I cannot find a place for. And Car will not fire.

that looks like the factory O2 sensor plug

Alright sweet got it. But what would cause no spark.

are you getting fuel?

No CAS signal would mean no fuel and no spark.
Bad/disconnected ignitor would give no spark. Make sure that harness is connected.
