Cop

been reading up on COP and i just want some feedback... those who have done it... is it worth it? is there that much of a benefit?

appreciate any feedback on it!

oh god, please stay away from anything electrical, lol
i am still in the process of finishing my install (still sorting out some MS issues)
the general consensus on the COPs mod, people report less electrical noise (if you know what that means)
fewer missfires with higher boost applications
smoother idle, etc...
i strognly advise you to get someone to build this for you
cheers
Dan

my idle is pretty abnormal, my father and i spend days tuning ourselves and finally figured it out... for the most part... idle is set at 800rpms and varies to about 1500rpm(not bad since it started at 400 and went to 2500 when we installed the LINK, and was stalling everytime we out the car in nuetral). i do not know what you mean by electrical noise, sorry im still a noob, but im pretty familiar with engines.... most of my knowledge comes from working on carborated cars(old jags). I'm pretty sure that i havent had any misfires(although i could be 100% wrong on that one). We tried 10mm spark plug wires but couldnt figure out why the car was running so rough and truely didnt want to run at all. bought the wires from a "race app. miata store" and they said it was a "neccessary upgrade".so right now im just runnin 8.5mm NGK wires... thats why i was looking for this COP upgrade.

and whaaam... i re-wired the car for my Link... i can do electrical things, i have had 3 cars and not one of them hasnt had something that needed electrical wiring done to them.. 93 probe gt... 3 10" fosgates custom fiberglass enclosure, 3 amplifiers 2for subs and 1 7channel for my speakers, 98 jeep wrangler tj i wired 8 150W KC daylighters, 2 12" subwoofers, 2 amps 4channel amp mated to polk audio component speakers and an apline 2channel for subs.. currently i have a 07 civic ex w/nav, just wired in fog lights.... i have to oull the bumper off and get new ones because rocks busted through the glass lens... i know my way around a car, and i may not know specifics like how to do a COP or tuning a car perfectly, but i can do the job and it may not have the most hp increase from me, but i can do it pretty well
