Cost for turbo & install
 

I'm a newbee - have a 2006 MX5 - live in the Seattle area - - what would be the approximate cost for a turbo and install? Any suggestions for tuner/installer in my area? Thanks

Have you done any research. There is a search button. Google flyin miata and bell engineering. If you are not going to do it yourself plan on spending at least $4000

This will be fun!

followed by $3000+ (could be several "+" if you're stubborn) to replace blown engines and eventually another $2000 for the uninstall.

Look to BEGI or Flyin Miata for kits plus $3k for install/tuning/whatever is missing.

I need to qualify this. This is based upon watching a friend of mine go through the ringer with a 3rd party SC install by a well-known shop. However, his was a track car. I would imagine you will fare better on a street car.

Still, DIY if you can. And stuff is more expensive on NCs.

This is an NC. I don't recall any successful installs. WittyWorks has been working on one for some time now.

Turbos don't blow engines.
