Well Im pretty sure my water pump is starting to fail Lost some coolant and though I couldnt see the leak I could smell the coolant. Since Im sure mu valve seals are shot Im thinking of either taking the head to a machine shop or replacing with one from cylinder-head,com for 375 bucks, Has anybody had any experience with them? How much typically should I loof for in price from a machine shop? Thanks

I have a friend that recommended me a place back when I wanted to refresh the head on my previous car. I'll give him a call and get back to you.

I had a poor experience with the one in Clearwater. Quality was shit, combustion chamber full of pockmarks and three of the exhaust valves leaked like a sieve. Crap workmanship, wrong water ports (was a Escort head). Won't ever deal with them again.
