Debadging
I took the Mazda emblem off my front bumper, which I'm going to be replacing to a 01 style w/ fog lights and obviously the residue is on my bumper still. What do you guys use to debadge and remove all the residue?

lighter fluid/goo gone will work
|
i use goo gone to fill in the holes left from removing badges too.

Chisel and hammer. Klean-Strip and a wire brush usually gets the residue.

Inside joke.

Small thing of goo gone will work really well. Try an old hair dryer to heat up the goop first too.
|
try semen...
|
How to apply?
|
Ever heard of "painting the fence?"
|
Goo gone, adhesive remover, etc.
The finish under the badge may be different simply because it hasnt been exposed to the same conditions. May need to polish the whole panel to make it look right. Or semen does the same job, possibly with less rubbing. |
