Default Props to VEI Systems

Has anybody dealt with these guys before?

I know a lot of guys are running Innovates, AEMs, etc wideband set-ups don't have to worry about this, but I'm running an old PLX M-300 that PLX no longer makes a wideband gauge for. After 4 years of dealing with the awkward position of my digital display, I decided to pick up a VEI Systems 52mm wideband gauge to fit into my cluster.

Unfortunately, the one I ordered from one of the online distributors was defective. I know this because Neil at VEI Systems took my phone calls and held my hand through the diagnosis process. Sure, that's a tech's job, but as far as I can tell, the place closes at 6:00 pm ET yet Neil was there well after 8:00 pm working on some stuff (I don't really think he's just a tech) and still took the time to take my numerous calls as I walked up and down the 6 flights of stairs from my garage to my apartment after each test.

So the gauge was defective and it was now 8:30 pm his time on a Friday before a 3 day weekend. I got home today and there was a brand new VEI Systems gauge in my mailbox with a postage paid Priority Mail label for the return of the old one packaged along with the new gauge.

Just installed the new gauge and it's working perfectly.

Top notch service from a stand up guy.

Hey Dan, I don't know what it is they're helping you with but you deserve it.
now, if I could finally see that "boostless" sig removed I'd be a very happy camper.
