does anyone know a hitman?
because there is a mazda engineer somewhere that needs to be taken out. jk of'course.
i just removed the front bumper for the first time today. seriously? did we really need all of those nuts/bolts? *i must confess that i actually used my air hammer with a chisel attachment to help with the removal. 3 seized nuts required it. |
Men have been killed for less
|
I can remove mine in like 5 minutes now since I only leave the top bolts and the side nuts on. That deep 10 still pisses me off.
|
Somebody say my name?
We should keep this in PMs |
I'm considering attaching my bumper with buckle thingies from Pegasus because I'm sooooo much cooler than you.
|
Just be like a drifter and tip tie your bumper on, that way you can take it on and off with a pair of wire clippers and a few more zip ties.
All the cool kids are doing it. (Hustler isnt a cool kid because his goal is lower lap times not getting mad drifto points) |
We should definately keep this in PM's cause...well...business is business. I like to drive my car and all, but business is business...know what I'm sayin?
|
The world record for R&R of the front bumper is 3 minutes 12 seconds. We are the proud holders of said record.
Any challengers? Corky |
and reinstall... not me. That's quick as hell. Just removal, I could do that.
Well I guess that's why its a record! |
I'll take that challenge! What's up mr. Bell? So what's on the agenda in your neck of the woods on this fine evening?

I can beat that if prep time does not count and I can use linear shape charges and tie downs...and the car does not have to work after.....
You think thats tough? Try reattaching the undertray of a Lancer Evo MR using the factory loser-spec plastic hardware. I went temporarily insane, gave up, and just made hardware myself it was so bad. |
lol they can be a pain if the plastic clips have been taken on and off a bunch of times.
