I'll be taking this car to the track for the first time this month. Track's about 100 miles away and I'm worried about it breaking down. What the hell do you do when your car breaks down at the track anyways?
Uhaul charge $70 a day for a trailer, when I start tracking that's what I plan to do.

I drive it there and drive it back. Most of my days are local, PIR is in Portland proper but I drove 2 1/2 hours to another track and didn't worry about it. Should have, but didn't. I'll likely head down to a NorCal track this summer/ fall for a weekend. I'll plan on driving there and back too.
Just take lots of tools and some basic spares/quicky repair stuff. Misc. nuts, bolts, threadlocker, form-a-gasket and make sure all your hoses are good.

AAA Plus will tow you up to 100 miles for free, then $3/mile after that. At least that's what I paid the last time I broke down coming home from the track.
What may not be immediately obvious is that spending 3 or 4 hours in the cab of a tow truck is tedious at best, and potentially "Deliverance"-level disturbing.
If you have the means, having your own tow rig is the way to go.
Sadly, I have nowhere to park a trailer.

AAA plus is worth having.
That 100 miles free is with that membership.
That being said... I drive to the track. If I blow it up... usually I'm in range of AAA. If not... I'll AAA as far as I can and call for a buddy to rescue me.
