Easiest LC-1 Ground ?

I know this has been discussed before, alot of ppl ground their LC-1 to PPF or Engine Block.

I am only going to use my LC-1 for monitor via an NB gauge in the car, and take some logs with an laptop. Will I be able to get away for grounding everything to the ECU brackets?

install:
- Bung is welded onto Cat. Converter area.
- Wires are fed through shift boot.
- power taken from ECU

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking so I will answer both ways.

Will I be able to get away FROM grounding everything to the ECU brackets? Yes, I grounded mine to the engine block (right side where the engine "eye" used to go).

Will I be able to get away WITH grounding everything to the ECU brackets? Yes, I suppose so. If you are trying to get away with something easy I would just go for it. If you have a problem it is always easy to reground.
