Easiest way to drain fuel tank? NB2
 

Got some ethanol in the fuel tank that I'm keep to drain. What is the easiest way? standard 2002 NB2 / NB8B.

This is how I do it. I connect the hose to a fuel can and pump the fuel from the tank right to a fuel can.

You can jumper the fuel pump in the diagnostic box under the hood to run with the key on...just disconnect the fuel line somewhere (either coming out of the tank or at the engine) and run a hose into a gas can. It pumps fairly quick assuming the tank isn't completely full.

Update for what it's worth...all done.

Did think after that disconnecting at the fuel filter may be slightly easier due to (slightly) easier to under fittings but no big deal.
