Easy ECU connector solution?

Ugh, this is so stupid. I'm in the middle of a Megasquirt install and I broke the clip on one of the ECU connectors. It still locks in place but it is very difficult to get out. I will be swapping back and forth between stock and Megasquirt, so it's not the type of thing I can pretend won't suck later.

Is there an easy solution to this? I really, really don't want to cut and re-wire the new connector - I hate soldering without space to work in. And I certainly don't want to tear out and replace the whole harness. Only other thing I can think of is just shelling out $200 for a harness extension. It seems like overkill, but that may be the easy way. Anybody have any better suggestions?

Depin and replace the connector shell. With a good depinning tool and patience, it will take you an hour and cost you very little (shell should be maybe $15 at most). No soldering or repinning. Just take lots of photos and go slow so all the wires go back in the right spots. It will be better than new when you're done.

Awesome, thanks very much Savington. I didn't even know you could depin/repin these connectors. This doesn't look all that difficult, way easier than cut and solder.

Or you could just strap a bunch of zip ties together...

Pretty easy once you get the hang of angling in the screwdriver.
