I would think to use the rx8 o rings.

Any o ring is easy to damage on Instalation.

I used the Miata seals on my RX8 injectors without any problems. You may have pinched a seal on install.

If you need new seals, order the little kit from Rockauto. For my 2000, the kit which includes all the necessary seals (per injector, you need 4 sets) is part # 8024A and is $1.92

Feel free to use some lube to install them.
