Electrical Confusion. won't start, or turn off.
Alright I'm baffled...
just got my car running with its new 1.8 swap, chased down a problem with my toyota cop, then went for its first test drive. 10 minutes or so cruising in the neighborhood. no problems. Came back home, went to start the car and nothing. It turns over, but won't crank. My fans are setup to turn on with the car ( didn't have a bung with new coolant reroute ) and then I turned the car off, and pulled the key out, and the fans stayed on. this caught my attention, and my megasquirt (v1) was still lit up... when I tried to crank it again, the ms light shuts off as soon as the starter starts going... the only way to turn fans and ms off is to disconnect battery. im baffled. Thinking it is the ign switch possibly?? Thanks in advance!!! |

Remind me where it caught on fire again?

Fucked ign switch maybe? Also could have killed the battery trying to figure it out while the fans ran and everything turns off when you try to start it due to starter load.
