Evap System

What does everyone do with the line going back to the fuel tank when they lose their evap system. I am going to remove mine because it is useless and cluttering the engine bay. Do I block it off or leave it unblocked. I see goods and bads of both.

Well if you feel it will save you some weight and add hp go ahead. :giggle:

I just left mine there, I read someone took the line off all the way back to the tank. I thought about doing the same, just never got around to doing it

I pulled my canister out last fall and just ran the line back down under the inner fender. I looped the other hose back to the solenoid.

However, I smelled gas yesterday while driving around, didn't find a leak, and wondered if it was this open line. It was the first really hot day here this year and was thinking that the tank was more pressurized than normal and releasing more fumes because of it.

Well, this may be homo of me, but I just hated the way it looked, and got tired of seeing useless shit on my car, so I just tossed it. No performance intended, just aesthetic.
