Father of the Miata... 323GTX LOVE.

My brother and I still have one laying around.
We haven't had any motivation to get it up and running. Its missing an engine, transmission is out of the car, and interior is completely stripped. Another problem is that it was a California car, and we have had trouble getting a Texas title for it. We can't get a hold of the last owner and the title is lost.

My brother has two GTXs, the first one he bought for $7500, it was absolutely MINT, the second one he bought 2 years later for $1500 as a parts car. He daily drove the first one through the winter, and with the million pounds of salt that gets put on the ground during the winter the second one he bought turned out to be in much better condition than the first one!

Yah, this thing has some rust around the edges, all repairable though and mostly hidden or under trim pieces. Needs a small corner of floor pan replaced also. TOTALLY worth saving though.
Upto 170 miles on this thing... its SOOOO fine. HOOOORAY!

I've owned like 8 of these currently have 2 and one other is a resident at my house. None of them are currently running however. I love driving them. I have one that is just stoopid fast when it is running with a 323 GTR drive train swap built up it is about 300 hp. 2600 lbs All wheel drive and I've got the suspension and brakes reasonably sorted to match, stuffed 15X9 wheels in the front and 15X8's in the rear with 225 v710's it is a rocket.
I got one by trading a Miata for it that I bought for $700 with hard top. Kept the hard top and traded the running Miata for a GTX with a broken transmission.
