Default I love thieves :)... to death, if I could catch some ;)

Got up this morning... and here is what i found. The worst thing is that I think its someone close by that is doing this (our house got robbed a couple of months back).

Took my xm, my clarion face plate, keys from my toyota... f*** crap! It hasn't been even 2 months of ownership. Driver door is faulty... no problem, "lets walk arround and cut ourselves a nice big hole on the other side. Yes, i know, I should have left ny doors open... but remember, this is my first conv ever.

BTW, the cherry on top of all is that I have liability coverage only .

I wish I could catch some... take them to my basment... do some experiments, you know, "Fun Times With Andrei and the Nail Gun".

Why did you left your xm and faceplate in the car? I mean, it's an invitation for scumbags to get in....

Pisser. Yeah, locking doors with a cloth top usually doesn't yield favorable results. I've had one Miata break-in and they stole my ash tray which contained nearly .80 US.
You're lucky it wasn't a beaver or your shift **** would be gone too.

Mine stays in the garage, problem solved.

But when away from home, I never lock the doors, I never put the top up unless weather requires. Scumbag drug addict radio theives don't steal **** when it's raining.

And if somebody wants my 10yr old Panasonic HU, they can have it, I'll start listenting to the sweet sound of boost.

Still, I'm sorry that happened to you. Perhaps invest in one of those low-light wireless camera systems... http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...+camera+system

And since all XM units need to be activated via a signal from the satellite, it's completely useless. I think people would know by now that a used XM kit that is obviously stolen will never work.

I agree with the alarm... spend a couple hundred and hook it up through some serious air-horns.

This thread should be in the BS section.

You might also want to check your oil before you drive it again... damn Miata oil thieves strike often.

Oh... sorry . Hence the NEWB status. If a mod could move it, it would be greatly appreciated.

I was actually looking a LoJack. $600 and you are safe for life... and insurance is cheaper.
I mean I have heard of $500 viper units with status reporting remotes... and all that was left the next day was an empty parking spot, and not a beep from the remote... nothing crazy, just a 2000 323i. And to be honest... i would absolutely love to hook up a silent alarm, then jump out and shoot each in the head. Though considering the laws in this country, i will go to jail... or maybe get shot if they are packing... though I don't think so, i never miss (thank you dad).
