flywheel alignment?
New engine is going in later this week :yippee:
I noticed in the Haynes manual that you are supposed to mark the Flywheel so you can re-allign it. I'm putting a Fidanza flywheel on the new motor, is there any certain way it is supposed to line up? |

the fidanza bolts are, i believe, 5/16-18.

I have the bolts that came with the pressure plate also. |

Make sure you get the correct bolts to match the threads in the flywheel when mounting the pressure plate. The ones from your OEM flywheel are a different thread and will destroy the threads in your Fidanza
i did that.... i hit them shits with an impact,:eek5: and was quite supprised when they stopped dead in their tracks about half way through, had to re thread everything...:bang: |
