FM heat shield and a turn-signal vent?

Hey guys, been tossing this around in my head but I was wondering what everyone else thought. I have the FM turbo filter heat shield thing that mounts behind the driver's headlight to keep the inbound air cool(ish). I was considering a Moss turn-signal vent and a vent above the filter on the hood to improve cold-air intake on that particular area.

Basically I'm wondering if that's a feasible idea (IE: Enough cold-air intake from the signal area), or if I should just fab a scoop on the hood itself. This hood would only be used for autocrossing and other things, since rain on the filter is... bad. :giggle: My other option is to take the lamp lense out and leave it open and punch a hole in the hood above the filter.

Or is it fine as-is..? I don't see where it could possibly be getting any cold air at all though..

Edit- Oh and does anyone know what kind of injectors FM uses in their kits? High or low impedance. I'm looking at Begi's 750cc and 1000cc injectors (currently have 550s) and not sure which to switch to..
