FUel Pressure Regulator
Okay.
So I'm really confused right now. The more I search, the more I'm confused. So I'm running a 1.6 motor and I have a 255 pump with 550cc RX7 injectors. Now, I need an FPR, but I know my Nissans and they have the return style fuel systems. Now, If I understand correctly, my NA6 is a returnless system? So My issue is finding which FPR to use. I used to use the Aeromotive on my Nissans previously. So if anyone could direct me to a recommended FPR by the miata community It'd be greatly appreciated since I'm just getting more and more confused the more I search. Thanks. |
After actually looking at my rail and some more research.
The NA6 is a RETURN style. So now I just wouldn't mind some suggestions on an FPR. I'm looking at a few Fuel Labs ones and Aeromotive. |
I've used both Fuelab and Aeromotive.
Which one looks prettier to you? I had a fuelab 51502 on my Escort, Aeromotive 13109 on the MX6. Whichever one i use on my NB will be determined by which one i can get cheapest at that point in time. |
I went with the Aeromotive.
I'll just have to buy fittings locally somewhere later as they never come with fittings. Thanks. |
Just out of curiosity, why such a huge fuel pump? A walbro 190 will easily supply those injectors and will work fine with the stock fuel pressure regulator mounted on the back of the rail.

After I bought the pump I looked into it and saw that a 190 would of been fine. At this point since my motor randomly leaned out and blew, I just wanted a new pump, FPR, filters, injectors, and what not. But I just bought the 255 with my knowledge of my Nissans. SO yeah.... |
