Fueling/timing, timing belt, a couple of computer, and a stupid question

1. After a engine refresh, I seem to be running slightly lean. I've gone from mid 11's to mid 14's and 13's. I did one high rpm run where it finally did taper down into the 11's, but it took far too long. The timing belt is loose between the cam gears, and although I got my timing set to 14*, with bipes pulling an additional 6, I did it by moving the CAS all the way to one direction, which was far past my reference mark, and obviously something is not right.

2. So apparently cutting the valve cover is suppose to make timing belt changes and timing adjustments easier. However I have no idea how to keep the cams from moving, as the hex shape cast into the cams is not exposed. I managed to do it, although obviously not very well, with two 14mm wrenches on the cam gear bolts, but it was an absolute pain in the ass and there must be a better way. What are you guy's methods, or do you remove the valve cover for changes, and only cut it for adjustable gear adjustments?

3. I have an .iso of Halo (1) I've mounted using daemon tools, and once installed it tries to open, gets to the main screen, and a suddenly minimizes, with a window saying "Exception! gather exception data..." it eventually times out, errors, and closes. Is this a 64 bit problem possibly? I thought it might be, so I tried it on my old 32 bit computer, and it said my graphics weren't up to date. I tried updating, but apparently ATI is making you pay for driver updates now, anybody know how to get around this BS driver robot program?

4. How do I change my gauge lights to purple, lolz.
