Gauging interest in a radiator cowl, group buy/i'm making
 

Making this radiator cowl to put under the radiator to link up to the under side front bumper. Plan on running a GV lip later so no point in running a scoop. Just want to sorta block the air running under/bypassing the radiator. So far it clears the FM intercooler and bolts to the old ac lower mount. So no ac options yet. The front will bolt to the stock lip mounts. What I have so far is in the pics. Yes, it looks like crap at the moment. It's just a prototype. SO please don't mock me yet.

I'm posting because I'm looking at finishing this mock up and taking it to a metal shop in town to have a nice finished product made. It will fit a '99 but dunno about other generations fitting. If there is an interest I'll have one made for me, post pics, and either have more made for people or just give the build diagrams out. If I have them made the price will be whatever it costs to make, +10 bucks for me and my time which I think is fair, + whatever shipping is to you. If I can get say 10 people to go in obviously costs would go down.

Basically what it would look like installed, planing on adding more material for a full tab under the radiator I can seal to the radiator with foam tape.

And I'm looking into thin aluminum so no rust, stainless hardware, and this is just some trim lines. Want to make it thick enough to be rigid at speed but thin and flexible enough to make up for any slight difference between everyone individual cars/bumper mods

It kinda depends on what he wants for making it. Honestly the aluminum I have is just scrap he gave me. And depends on if what he makes is better looking. I figure worst case I make it, don't have him make nicer ones and just post the design for others.

I'll have to find that thread. Heading to the garage to work on it some more. Kinda just doing this while I'm waiting on gaskets and hosing to arrive. Also fyi, don't ever put the yellow sticker stuff on headlights. Previous owner did and I've got about 6-7 hours of time into getting the sticky off and polishing them up. Shitty thing is they just look like 10yr old stock headlights now. it's funny the things we do for our own personal knowledge.
