Is it the xtreme pressure plate?

couldn't resist having it done while the tranny was out...:) |
oh you poor poor man...
jk, I really hope that you like it, but I had a puck clutch in an integra, and for me, never again. It shudders way too much, and grabby is an understatement. Personally, I'd go for a solid, spring disk with the stiffest pressure plate I could get my hands on. I have my bellhousing out right now from my 90, and I am installing an exedy "oem replacement" 1.8 disc, with an ACT pressure plate. Lots of people say to get a cluthc that can hold way more power than you plan on, in case you get bit by the "bug", but I can honestly say that no amount of power is worht dealing with puck, or unsprung clutches. My goals for my greddy are 8-10 psi and 170-200 rwhp. |
the puck-style disk took some time getting used to, but I like the way it grabs now. feels solid and should hold plenty of power :)
