DO NOT believe either of the previous posters. Style bars will not fit with a hardtop. Remove said style bar and throw out.

For sure, there not that big as a roll bar its just a little bar doesn't have a backing on it or anything and its alot shorter then a roll...still have to install mine
EDIT: roll bar is to expensive for me and i would want a polished one which is even more expensive

I would ask the manufacturer of the style bar before purchasing.

why do people insist to make their cars less safe in case of a roll over?
style bar=deather trap
no bar=you may survive
roll bar=people wonder how you walked away from that one...ask paul

if the style bar interferes, you can just bend it out of the way.

Default That's funny.....

Never ceases to amaze me how this forum puts threads through the *** wipe. Ask a simple question...be prepared to get reamed. I wonder how many miata roll overs were due to individuals not knowing the limitations of their vehicles?
Thank you all for your responses.

As another noob here I would say these guys are trying to help you in their usual loving manner. The style bar has a reputation for being useless as protection if that is your intent. You are better off getting a roll bar. I am planning on doing the same. As mentioned, be sure you get one that is hard top compatible. Some are not.
