just curious.

Yes, I have one and very rarely use it. There are much simpler ways of accomplishing the same thing. I'll let the guys that do it chime in.

Pitlab77 05-17-2007 10:20 PM

why? to make it look broken?

miataspeed1point6 05-17-2007 10:52 PM

I hate sleepy eyes. I don't care if they help underhood temps, it looks like shit. Make ducts or something, they accomplish the same goal and look much more tastefull. I bet a NACA duct completely installed would cost less than the controller.

Well me being a budding electrical engineer, I'd be happy to "borrow" someones, open it up and build my own. I'd even sell them (obviously much cheaper than what they normally cost) if there was an actual demand. I was too cheap and just made a momentary switch on my headlights.....

i just diconnect the plug and twist the knob up and down.

cjernigan 05-18-2007 01:49 AM

My buddy has one, works fine.

SloS13 05-18-2007 08:52 AM

if I were 15, I *might* buy one.

Braineack 05-18-2007 09:05 AM

I'm closing this thread just cause "limpy" started it, probably to pretend like he was trying to have a civil discussion before being banned.
