head gasket

does anyone no of a really good head gasket i just went throw one in a month and need a really good one to stand up to 15 psi

The stock one will be fine. Otherwise i'm pretty sure cometic makes a copper head gasket if you want to go that route. Most people here running that much boost just use the stock gasket.

If you killed a stock one in a month

1) It wasn't installed right
2) The head bolts were re-used too many times
3) The head bolts were over torqued
4) The head/block is not square

OEM gaskets have been proven to handle over 300 whp on numerous occasions.

Cometic is a multi-layer steel headgasket, I put on on mine just before I installed the turbo. However that was a twofold operation. I had a leak somewhere in the head and it was a preventative thing.

Stock is fine, cometic is great. spending money on jdm shit is over rated and unneeded.

+1

Unless you HAVE to have a "name brand" thing, then by all means spend the extra $50-$100 on HKS and we'll bask in the glow of your JDM-ness.
