Default turn signal ? one doesnt work not bulbs

Hi This Is Probaly A General Automotive ? But My Left Turn Signal Doesnt Work On My Miata But The Right Does Ive Changed The Bulbs On The Left Side And Still Nothing It Makes The Click Sound But Doesnt Light Up The Arrow On The Dash Or Car Anyone Else With Same Problem? Advice?

your flasher relay may be dead. also, you may have corrosion on the bulb socket.

yeah. do you hear the "click click" noise? My realy went bad and I did not hear the click. Got one at a junkyard and fixed it

take the relay out and re solder the connections... i had the same problem.

yea i still hear the click sound but no light thanks ill will try and find one

I would try re soldering the board.. there is a post on mnet about this with pics..

Mine went bad earlier this year. I was quickly evident that one of the solder joints had gone bad. Quick fix.

all you need to do is heat up the joints.. hell I did it with a torch and a hot screwdriver.. because someone lost my soldering iron

Dude, a soldering iron is $10, probably the same as a blinker from the junkyard (which would also have a good chance of failing). Then you'd have a soldering iron for the next time you need it.

If you're going to bother pulling the thing out to replace it, you might as well spend the extra 12 seconds popping it open and tapping the solder joint together again.

Okay i took it out last night and looked at it and didnt see anywhere that it looked like a bad solder or anything how do you know where to solder?

On mine, it was a little hairline crack on one of them. You could just heat up the solder that exists on both of them so that it pools nicely again.

mine looked fine too, looked kinda black so i just re did the two joints and to my suprise it worked
