Help with injectors fast if you could.
I am putting supra lo-z injectors, the snout on them looks shorter (where it goes in the head) and it looks like the plug is upside down. I am going to do a honda resistor box for the resistance. Here is a pic.http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...011_medium.jpg
Top is the supra, bottom is factory. Thanks. |

my rc 440s snout was that short too, just make sure it is sitting in the hole correctly, and when you snug down the fuel rail they will compress the rings and go in far enough, has been working well for me.

Sorry, i read stuff about shaving clips and what not, now that i am less flustered, i see where i shave the clips. . I didn't know if the shorter snout was acceptable. Only question. I sweear.
Edit: Thanks! If anyone had good cranking pw's for 440's i would love it. |
The stuff below 40° hasn't been tested, obviously:
http://img40.imagefra.me/img/img40/6...fm_e192b6c.gif This is with hi-z 465s, I've no idea how your lo-z injectors will compare, given that you're choking them off with resistors. Give it a shot and see how this table works for you. |
not to threadjack, well ok thats actually my plan, but shave what the fuel rail spacers? I have dsm 450's and since the change I cant get my idle below 1k rpm when warm. they have the same short snout and I have long suspected they are allowing small vac leaks and raising the idle.
So, we shave the spacers to get them to sink in a bit further? |
nvm, you mean shave the elec plugs. I am an idiot.
