When we originally packaged your kit, we noticed that one of the axle's boots was damaged. A damaged boot could mean or lead to a bad joint. So I made a decision to get you another axle. We did not have any others in stock, so we had to source them. It took a few days. Sorry about that, but I stand by the decision.

FWIW: Ask the Mazda dealer if the nuts are plated in gold and they'll drop the price, if you ever have to get shit from the dealer - their prices are always negotiable. There may also be another dealer in the area with lower prices and you can force them to match (I do this + haggle when I'm forced to go the dealer route).

Pdexta, you're a real piece of work...
Nice of you to paint yourself as this cool, calm, reasonable guy, and it turns out you're cursing a guy out over the phone. What even makes you think it is even remotely the right thing to do, to knock somoene for hanging up on you when you treat them like you did. As Ben said, they made a mistake, but your misrepresentation does not reflect well on you at all. :td: |

Hahahahaha
Joe, I wish you never left Ohio, I would buy you a beer. |

Agreed, I think the original was better. Fixed.
Also, Hustler has died of dysentery. |
lol.
Always check your parts before you start |
Rule 1 when you are trying to get free shit from a company, or you're trying to get a problem fixed, is to be extremely firm-voiced but never swear. I hate getting incomplete shit too, and for $1100 I expected more, but to be quite honest you got exactly what you deserved here.

I have to say, when I read the first post, I was like, "Not Mazmart!"
I had awesome customer service from them, even though my calls did not end up with me buying anything. Oh, and sorry again for buying that brake kit before you got it, Ben ;) You get those rear calipers and brackets in yet? :D -meaty |
guess he wont be showing his face around here much

I didnt' read this whole thread but I will eventually. All I saw was Mazmart and $1100 for a torsen swap. I paid more for my torsen swap from Mazmart a while ago. WTF happened to inflation? Damnit. Ehh it was a 3.90 with around 25k miles. Late gen axles, which i like better.
I was/am more than happy to pay Mazmart more than the usual places for the swap cause I know the parts I'd get would be as described, well packaged, kick ass, etc. And Paul was out at the time and I"m impatient. Anyways, Mazmart is fantastic. THey also hooked me up on a strange issue with Wifey's Millenia ECU. Gave me a year warrantee (but my receipt said 6 months...) with my 3.90 torsen even with my boost as long as I didn't track it. This was years ago. No problems. |
