Use this vinyl stuff from Parts Express. It's not difficult to remove once the car has a new purpose. It's lightweight and has a pleasant new-car-smell once installed.

Do what Vlad posted. The bulk of road noise comes from the back. The biggest gains in order are (in my opinion) 1) rear package tray, 2) rear bulkhead behind seats, 3) trunk floor, and 4) the floorpan under the carpet.

CLD Tile to kill resonance first.

Then MLV over that will control noise. You only need 25% CLD, so use CCF to mount the MLV over as it needs to be seperated from the surface. Or just CLD everything if you want to spend.
