How do you feel?

Hey guys whats up, new to the forums.

I was looking into getting a 2000 Miata. For everyday driving

I was just curious to see how every felt about theyre miata.
Do you drive yours everyday?
Safety?
Comfort?

They seem like great little car, my only concern being safety (I live in Texas, Ive been hit and run 4 times already this year).

I drive mine everyday in California traffic. I've been rearended once and was uninjured. I rearended a toyota pick-up once and I had to replace my front nose and bumper. Can't tell you how many accidents/objects I've avoided because of the Miata handling. It's reasonably safe.

The longest drive I've done in my miata is 1200 miles to Seattle in 17 hours. I've made that trip 6 times. It's reasonably comfortable for a 5'10" 160 lb driver.

at 5'10", 175lbs, I'm a fairly ideal size for a miata, although you'll hear about people up to 6'3" that say they're comfertable.

my 1993 has a slightly smaller interior I believe than a 2000 has, but it has a turbo, stiff suspension, and is gutted of all interior carpet. its my daily driver and I can handle all that just fine. then again I like it ruff ;)

5'11", 188lb. I had to get a seat for it because my torso is too tall, its rough, and I hate driving it anywhere because of the seat, and long trips suck because the suspension is so firm. Aside from that, a stock one makes a great daily, especially an NB. My roommate has an NC and its totally boring, but would make a fantastic daily driver girl car.
