Default why is my gas pedal so god damn hard to press?

Its like rock hard compared to other cars. I thought it was just an NA thing, but apparently its not. Now its apparently so hard to press that cruise control doesn't really work anymore.

thanks for the help.

love,
dad

pop the cable off the t-body and move it in and out, if its still stiff the cable could be fraying inside if not your t-body could be sticking. Either that or spend some time on a stairmaster

That was the gayest thing I've read today!!
On a serious note lubing the throttle cable would probably help a bunch. Hold it up and spray into where the cable slides into its sheath. Also spray the spring on the throttle body where the cable attatches. Finally, spray the hing of the throttle pedal itself. It's been recommended that chain gear lube is best for this stuff.

should the 1.6 pedal feel like the NB cars? I'm worried this bitch is going to stick open.

glad it was an easy fix...I was about to say mine takes little effort but it does have a good feel to it.

the throttle body spring on my 70mm TB is retarded soft, if you look at the gas pedal it goes down.
