I was planning on test fitting my intercooler today and found out that I can't take the front bumper off (because I don't know how to do it on a miata)

could somebody tell me how to do it? Or maybe has a scan of a workshop manual that has that info?

p.s.: It's a '99 miata

 

bolts along the top when you open the hood.
ones hidden up under the splast shields in the fender wells
obviously all the plastic under crap.

oops you said 99, it might the similar but i don't know

 

Just start unscrewing, youll get there. Front bumpers usually have alot/to many screws.

 

yeah- it's like the engine, if you get it all disconneted it'll come out.
The 99 is similar to the NAs- fenders, along the top at the hoodline, and the plastic crap.

 

my 90 had 2 nuts on both sides that conected it to the fenders.of course one of the bolts had to break.

those 2 bolts that bolt the bumper to each fender are what held me up

you can lock the steering wheel to one side and pull the plastic fender liner out of the way, you will be able to feel 2 10mm nuts in there :gay:
