Hydraulic Hood Lift, where to buy?

You guys always help me find the cheapest sources, now it's time for hood lift kits. Here is TrackDog's kit for $99:

Does anyone know where to get a similar setup for the best price?

I'm going over-the-radiator with my intercooler piping and need a hood-prop solution. Thanks fellas.

It's just a hydraulic shock.

Do you have a Godfather or Leer truck center near you?

No, but I do have a source for just the cylinders. I just replaced the hatch sturts on my subaru. Damn, maybe i shouldn't have thrown away the old ones. What should I look for?

Moss has them for around $70.

I'd stay away from the one sided hood lifts as they can push only side up so you get a weird hood gap at the side and headlight. I had the one from moss and it was just annoying (even despite adding five washers to try to lower the angle when closed) so I sold it. I know that the dual lifts are more $$$, but no annoying gaps from what I read. Or when I was searching about the Moss one as I was trying to get rid of the gaps, some DIY guys used a generic hydraulic piston with less force and a few custom brackets.

I have the one-side one and it doesn't give me weird hood gap... I forget where I got it but I think it's the moss motors one. The trunk one is lame though. doesn't open far enough.
