Added cheap-o threaded sleeves and some used springs. Car is now at 12" front and 12.5" rear, just as a baseline. This is a full 3" lower than the stock springs.

Springs are 6" 600lb front, 7" 325lb rear. Sways are still stock, though I'm planning on making my own front bar and endlinks. Not sure if I'll leave the stock rear bar or not, we shall see. Total budget I have for $2012 is only $1000, less the suspension upgrades, and I want to make m0ar p0wah!

Stock ECU?

Ben 09-06-2012 11:00 AM

Yes, virtually stock car. It has an aftermarket midpipe with cat and resonator, aftermarket exhaust (enthuza). Stock ecu. Stock intake, stock airbox, stock everything. The only change between the 2 dyno results is stock header vs RB header.

I did not take a screen cap, but the difference between running the stock intake box vs running open MAF (no filter) was 2hp up top.

Interesting to see the 3500rpm dip is there with stock everything, yet more pronounced with the header. 4-2-1 or 4-1?

NB Miata 4-1
