I have a fresh 6 speed with brand new gears that are polished and cryo'd ready to go into my car. But I made the dumb assumption that 3.636 gears would be easy to find to go with it. Its saturday, and I can't call mazda comp. How hard are these to get?

Any sources? And also, do they need to be cryo'd for a 300 hp track car?

He has them, as well as the speedo gear. Might as well get them cryo'd, someone recently said they were getting theirs done for $75 total.

They're hard as **** to find. I have to bring them over on the slow boat from Japan. Comp takes orders, but very very seldom actually fills them. Most folks get their orders magically canceled after a few months.

One of my goals is to keep the 3.6 on hand or have sufficient quantities ordered to make lead times minimal. But people keep buying out my allocation months before I actually receive them.

thanks I'll try miataroadster. I don't care about the speedo gear as I no longer have the stock dash and gps handles the speed.
