I need help getting off.
I am trying to remove the threaded oil filter thing. Not sure what its called but it is what the oil filter actually threads on to. The double nut method would work but I don't have 2 nuts that big. Any tips?

if someone told you the size of the nut you need, then you could do it.
I was too lazy to get a second nut, so i said screw it and now i have a spare oil/water cooler sitting on my desk. |
use the filter and the nut to take it off

use a filter and a cut up filter
