Default Oil temp sender - location for '99

What is everyone using for a '99?

It seems the simplest would be a drain plug adapter. Does anyone have a source/part number for one?

Any other easy ideas? One of my remote filter/oil cooler lines abraided and I am considering abandoning the whole thing and just running a filter in the stock location, but I need to get some idea of the temperatures I would be subjecting the oil to if i went that route.

Thanks in advance for the help.
