I just ordered an OBD2 scanner so eventually Im gunna take the bits and pieces of info on removing the MAFS without a CEL and go tackle it myself( i run megasquirt with the stock ECU controlling iacv, PS, AC and other shit). i was formally an electrical engineering major before i swiched to mechanical, so i might figure something out

Anyway... Does the stock ECU control the IACV based on inputs from the MAFS or is it just coolant based?

just pull the CEL bulb, problem solved

obd2... not solved... and also doesnt answer my question. is the IACV dependent at all on MAFS readings
