i'm putting a stock motor in my car, what about the turbo?

I have some substantially more important things in my life than another 30whp, so I'm just going to build it with the 9.5:1 99 motor.

Considering 250whp is the upper limit of what stock rings can take, should I ditch the 2860rs and get a smaller turbo since I'll need less flow, and get the 2560? I can probably trade BEGi straight up.

I guess its not going to be a giant, but my life might be better in the long run. As long as I can get a piece of vettes and ferraris with shitty drivers, I'll be happy.

I'd stay with the 2860 for efficiency reasons... it won't spool much slower than the 2560.

Use what you have.

i have 3" exhaust, 99 head, 9.5:1 comp, and EBC with ms, so I think spool will be on my side, and only be safer on those 30 minute, 100* track days.

bigger turbo will be forcing cooler air in. you'll get more power per psi and lower intake temps. those two things mean possibly less stress on the motor in the long run. keep the tater.

If you do decide to get rid of the 2860rs, I'd trade you for my 2560. :)
