injector install help
 

Hey all, Here is a couple pics of my 440 rc injectors. For some reason i can't get them to seat all the way down. I have tried loosening the rail bolts and wiggleing the injectors around to see if one was stuck on the lip of the boss. But unless I am failing at that I am at a loss of what to do? They are Rc Eng sl9 440's... Tell me that I am over looking something simple.

Try putting STP Oil Treatment or any other heavy oil on the O-rings and other parts that slip together.

The problem is the pintle caps are like 1mm too wide. I 100% guarantee it. I had the same issue on my rx7 550cc injectors before and ended up taking sand paper to the caps until they fit.

Judging from the first picture,you need to install the gromets that go over the pintle caps that seat up against the manifold,you should have them since you removed the factory injectors.
