Injector seals?
My motor has been blowing oil out of the breather. Leakdown has #2&3 at 50+60% leakdown past the rings. I have a motor from UK ordered and I'm trying to think what I need to have to make the swap. I have force flow 640cc injectors. They're about 2 1/2 years old. Should I get new seals before swapping? Trackspeed, where I got them, advertised that they had Miata specific seals. Anybody know what seals I could even get to replace them?

There’s three pieces per injector, so 12 total. There’s the lower seal which is like a really thick o-ring, there’s the upper o-ring that pushes into the fuel rail, then there’s the cushion that keeps some tension on the lower seal. I don’t think I’ve seen any aftermarket injectors using anything very different, beyond the cushion being a sort of spring sometimes. There are some companies that make injector seal kits that are generic for that style of injector a lot of Japanese cars were using in the 90’s that I’ve had good luck with too.

Seals
I emailed Nigel directly at force flow. He sent me a link for not only new seals, but a filter for each injector. Priced very reasonable.
