Has anyone here use one and are they worth getting?

Specifically what the hell exactly is it that you're looking for in a boost gauge, and how much do you want to pay for one?

That helps determine whether you need this or not

I really like the gauge I use to monitor my electronic boost. Electronic boost is far more environmentally friendly than conventional boost.

ive never used an elctric boost guage, but i couldmake one in about 15 seconds.

multimeter + 3bar mape sensor + a peice of vacuum hose = electronic boost guage.

why havent i done this already? because i have a normal boost guage and it works very, very well...

But isn't it awesome to dump 60+ on an electric boost gauge though? Isn't it?

the one I have that I bought from autozone only shows me 3lbs of boost it sucks

The shitty autozone ones can be off by a few psi. Even the better "autometer" ones can be off by 1-2psi. Get a 3bar map sensor, go maf-less, and record boost with ms or another engine management system. Don't rely on a boost gauge for 100% accurate readings. Or waste money on an electric one which can still be off sometimes.

Is there a way to take that air flow meter off or bypass it where the air filter fits on?

It's actually all one piece, from the filter to the bottom of the shortblock, you're gonna have to get an angle grinder.
