Injectors

So olderguy's sending me my 1.8L injectors and i don't know where to start with the install.......i'm assuming they just plug and play once they're in there but what all do i have to remove to get them out just the fuel rail or does the intake manifold have to come out also? Do the injectors just pop out by pulling on them or what do i have to do to get em outta there? will i have to make any other adjustments (i.e. to the maf?) to get them running right?

sorry for all the jumbleed up questions....just woke up. Thanks in advance for any input

remove that port on the side of the intake manifold (4 8mm bolts). Then unscrew the rail (2 12mm bolts) Dont let the spacers drop. pull out the vacuum line to the pcv. Unplug the injectors, lift the rail and pull out the old injectors. Oil the o-rings on the new injectors and slide them in. Put it back together. Shouldn't take more than 15-30mins. This is assuming you have an M1

don't forget to loosen the gas cap first. it will depressurize the fuel system.

Nope. Gas cap does not depressurize anything at the fuel rail. To depressurize the rail need to pull the CIR at idle.
